Obituary

Lynn Stevens, 79, of Somerville Massachusetts, died peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 19.

He was born in Massachusetts, the beloved son of George and Marjorie (Grundy) Stevens. Lynn was raised in Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina before moving to North Smithfield, Rhode Island. His love of reading led him to work as a volunteer at the North Smithfield Public Library for many years, before moving to Somerville to be closer to family.

Lynn is survived by his brother Gary and sister-in-law Isabel, niece Jessica and her husband Chris, niece Katharine, nephew Benjamin, grandnephew Charlie and grandnieces Elsa and Vivian. He is predeceased by his beloved sister, Gail, of North Providence, Rhode Island.

Services will be private, with burial in Vermont at a later date.
