SUSAN’S OBITUARY

Keenan, Susan, M.– Of Attleboro, formerly of Salem and Somerville, passed away after a courageous battle with young on-set Alzheimer’s. She was 63 years young.

Born in Cambridge and raised in Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Dorothy E. (Landry) Keenan.
Susan had a warm heart and a courageous, independent spirit. She loved visiting Maine, the ocean, Irish music, gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends, Most of all she loved enjoying life. Susan worked as a bartender in her early career before working as a Paralegal and later as a Realtor in the North shore area.
Sue was the beloved mother of Lauren Pacheco and her husband David of Attleboro. The loving grandmother of Leah Pacheco. She was the devoted sister of Ellen Keenan and her husband Allen Winkley of Maine, Karen McCann and her husband Neil of Groton, Matthew Keenan and his wife Jen of Salem, Michael Keenan of Somerville, Joanne Keenan of Worchester, Thomas “Tommy” Keenan and his wife Norma of Somerville, and the late Mary Keenan. The cherished Auntie Sue to Brandon, Caroline, Meghan, Daniel, Cairo, Joey, Tyson, Amelia and Abigail. The loving cousin of Kathy Passalacqua and Anne Curley. She is also lovingly survived by her former husbands Lawrence “Larry” Johnson and Joseph Faletra and many loving cousins, friends, and extended family members.
Calling Hours will be held Tuesday morning May 23rd in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) from 10:00AM to 1:00PM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
A Prayer Service will be held at 12:30PM.
Interment will be private.
