Somerville Youth and Recreation Foundation (SYRF) and Other Somerville High School Programs Receive Donations

Mr. Paul Collyer, the organizer of last year’s 2022 Somerville Jingle Bell Run & Walk, made some local donations today, 07 March 2023 at the new Somerville Recreation Center located at 8 Bonair Street in Somerville, MA. 02145

Mr. David Mangan received $1,500.00 for his Somerville Youth Recreation Foundation (SYRF) 501 c3 Non-Profit, George Scarpelli received $1,500.00 for the Somerville High School Girls Lacrosse Team and Somerville High School Soccer and former Somerville Alderman, Jack Connolly received $3,000.00 for the Somerville High School Track & Field Program.

The Somerville Youth Recreation Foundation (SYRF) is a Non-profit foundation and was formed exclusively in 2006 for charitable purposes. The principal objective is to elicit funding through solicitation and fund raising to support the educational, social, and sporting development of the youth in Somerville. Your contribution provides our youth with opportunities that guide their activity needs, interests, and aspirations for the future.
