U.S. Veteran
FARRELL, William T. – Of Medford February 14, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Lois (Clark) Farrell.

Loving father of Maureen Jenkins, Denise Farrell-Sanseverino, Billy Farrell all of Medford, Timothy Farrell and his wife Penny of Malden.
Brother of the late Mary, Ellen, Margaret, John, Jim, Agnes and Alice.
Dear grandfather of Krystal, Kayla, Danny, Marco, Gian-Paul, Matteo, Isabella and Jessica. Great grandfather of Luca, Leonardo, Robbie and Owen.
Visiting hours will be held for William, in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Tuesday morning February 21st, from 9:30 – 10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Raphael Church, Medford at 11:00.
Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery.

He had a lifelong career as an electrician for the MBTA but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved hosting elaborate cook-outs and Halloween parties. He brought together his children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren to celebrate many holidays. After his wife of over 40 years passed, he stepped up to be the primary grandparent for many of the grandchildren. He would never miss his grandchildren’s sporting events or important life events such as graduations and recitals. He always had a positive outlook and enjoyed taking up new activities. He could be found flying kites at local beaches, a hobby he took up in his 80s. He befriended everyone he met while out and about around Medford. He will be missed dearly by his loving family and many friends.
