CAROL-ANN’S OBITUARY
Carol-Ann Hynes, Sr. (née Walsh), a lifelong resident of Medford, MA, passed away on February 8, 2023. She had many loves, including laughing whenever she could; drinking coffee with friends at Dunkin Donuts; talking crazy politics;
dressing up as a clown (she was known as “Jingles the Clown”); watching black & white movies; finding a good bargain; and listening to talk radio. However, her biggest love of all in life was raising and living for her six children. When she was diagnosed in 2016 with Alzheimer’s disease, the only fear she expressed was someday not being able to remember her children. We worked hard to always keep that memory for her intact.
She leaves behind her children: Daniel (& Melissa); Kevin; Michelle (& Matt); Lynda; Jody; and Carol-Ann, Jr. (& Dan). She also leaves her grandchildren: Emma Catherine & Anna; Emma & Sara; and Caden, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will now join her parents, brother, and perhaps most importantly of all, her beloved sister, Donna and her favorite brother-in-law, Michael. And let’s not forget, she will also join her ex-husband and our father, Joe, who at times she may try to avoid up in heaven. We all loved her very much!
But where are the clowns?
Send in the clowns
Don’t bother, they’re here
