Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,

Recently attended a function at the Mt. Vernon Restaurant on Broadway. For as long as I can remember, which is many, many years, there were 2 Handicap Accessible parking spaces to frequent the local business, 1 on Broadway and 1 on the side street. They are no longer there just to accommodate a bus lane! Once again, this make believe mayor does not care for the elderly and the disabled’.

The majority of the restaurant’s business is with the elderly and disabled! The food is good and reasonably priced! I watched the buses that went by and they were practically empty! When is this mayor going to learn that we’re not all rich like her. She should go back to her friends from Nepal and the drag queens! Please designate those 2 spaces for the disabled!
