The City of Somerville is hiring polling place workers for the upcoming 2022 election cycle. Hundreds of poll workers will be needed this year to conduct a successful election. Here are the basics:

Ideally, poll workers will commit to both election days: Tuesday, September 6, and Tuesday, November 8.

Each workday starts at 6:30 a.m. and ends after the polls close at 8 p.m., with a two-hour break.

Poll workers earn between $200 and $265 per day, depending on their responsibilities.
