Denise Donahue Foscarota, born on April 22, 1966, passed peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 16, 2022 at the age of 56.
Denise was truly loved by all who knew her. Cherished daughter of the late Philip C. and Sandra Donahue, Denise was the beloved wife of John Foscarota and loving mother to son, Richard Foscarota of Somerville, MA. She was a dear sister to Philip R. Donahue and wife Janice, Mark Donahue and wife Maureen, and Keith Donahue and a special godmother to Renee Marzullo and Jessica Colleameno. She was a loving aunt to Renee Marzullo, Patrick, Connor, Julia, John, Paul, and Rachel Donahue, Kayla and John Foscarota, and Emily Hight. Denise will be deeply missed by the many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and lifelong friends who all loved her dearly.

Denise was kind and had a gift of brightening the day of those she loved, always there to support her family in both good times and in bad. Throughout her life, Denise was a pivotal figure in the lives of both the younger and older generation in her family, always just a phone call away to babysit, provide advice, celebrate milestones, and help with anything you needed. Denise had a special bond with many aunts and uncles and spoke with them often. Some of her favorite times were spent visiting with her Uncle Rick and Aunt Nancy in Florida.
For Denise, her son, Richard, was the pride and joy of her life. From the day he was born, Denise was completely devoted to his health and happiness. Denise’s most cherished memories all reflect wonderful times with Richard: bedtime stories, baking, first days of school, sports games, beach days, and time spent talking and sharing stories. Denise was so proud of Richard’s accomplishments as a young adult, his Catholic education, National Honor Society induction, and maturity as he plans for future higher education. She will always be with him as he moves toward his goals in life. There are no words to express how greatly Denise will be missed. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she will forever live on in our memories and hearts.
Funeral Services for Denise Donahue Foscarota will be private. Denise will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery in Arlington, MA.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date to honor Denise.
