ELIZABETH’S OBITUARY
Elizabeth (Liz) A. Burgess, of Somerville, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham, she was 78. Born in Cambridge, Liz was the daughter of the late Elizabeth M. (O’Leary) and Gordon D. Burgess.
She was the devoted sister of John “Jack” Burgess and his wife, Mary of Framingham, Mary Pothier and her husband, Gerald of Somerville, Patricia Monteith of Framingham, Catherine Graceffa and her husband, Raymond of Sandwich and Lorraine Burgess of Somerville. Dear aunt of Chuck Rival, Tracy DeFreitas, David Rival, Chris Banda, Robert Monteith, Theresa Burgess and Amanda Burgess. She is also survived by many loving grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in St. Joseph Church, 264 Washington Street, Somerville, on Friday December 3rd from 9:30AM-10:45AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Burial will be Private.
