A great showing from many business owners and Billy Tauro for Mayor this past Wednesday morning sending a very strong and clear message to Mayor Curtatone as well as to the Somerville City Councilors to allow all businesses to reopen fully.
Many local restaurant and business owners joined Billy this past Wednesday morning at the Somerville High School concourse that’s located at 93 Highland Avenue in Somerville directly in front of the main doors of City Hall.
News channels 5 and 7 both showed up to conduct interviews and cover the event.
Tauro stated “A first step into pushing the administration into opening up before its too late for our businesses to recover from this financial disaster…”
Tauro also stated “ The mayor and all of his city counselors have been getting paid throughout the entire pandemic since day one while all of these people are unemployed and losing their jobs and businesses.” It’s time for them to get off the hands and start doing the job that they are getting paid for and stop bleeding the taxpayer’s”
“We understand the ramifications and financial setbacks that have been endured in the past year and we believe that it is time for change!”
