Naveo Credit Union Announces Promotions of Judy Murdoch to Vice President of Operations/IT and Raquel Sa to Vice President of Marketing.

(Somerville, MA) Naveo Credit Union announced the promotion of Judy Murdoch to Vice President of Operations and IT, and Raquel Sa to Vice President of Marketing. Both Murdoch and Sa bring a wealth of knowledge to the credit union and are integral parts of Naveo’s executive team and overall strategic vision.

Murdoch joined Naveo 8 years ago as a seasoned credit union professional with experience in operations and compliance. Prior to joining Naveo, Murdoch was an AVP/Director of Compliance and Security at University of Illinois Credit Union, where she oversaw the training of multiple branches. Murdoch has received a wide range of training, originally in the Caribbean and more recently in the US. She furthered her financial education by earning certifications in several area including CU Compliance Expert (CUCE), BSA/OFAC Officer, and BSA/AML.

In her new role, Murdoch will be responsible for credit union operations, security, and further enhancing Naveo’s IT infrastructure. She will continue to be the BSA Compliance Officer and work with directors of the IT Committee. Murdoch resides in Wilmington and is passionate about choral singing, which she has done for over 20 years. She also enjoys traveling.

Sa has been a part of the Naveo team for 17 years. She began her career as a teller and transitioned to a marketing role 12 years ago after completing her degree program. She has previously held positions as Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Manager. Sa earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Advertising from Boston University. To expand upon her marketing/advertising knowledge, Sa also completed graphic design courses in the Adobe Creative Suite. Sa has played a key role in several large projects at the credit union, most notably Naveo’s name/brand change and the renovation of their branches.

In her role, Sa will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing Naveo’s marketing programs, campaigns and events. She will continue to work with directors of the Scholarship and Branch Strategy committees. A resident of Malden, Sa enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
