From March 3 through March 23 Captain Steven Mauras and Lieutenant Thomas Tierney along with 15 members of the Metro Boston Homeland Security UASI US&R Team continued their training toward the US&R Rescue Specialist Certificate at TEEX Disaster City in College Station, Texas.

The US&R Rescue Specialist Certificate from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service is the highest level of training and expertise in structural collapse rescue operations.
