Somerville Members Sought for Jobs Board and Vision Zero Task Force

The City of Somerville is seeking six members for the newly formed Jobs Creation and Retention Trust Board of Trustees and members for the Vision Zero Task Force.

Jobs Creation and Rentention Trust Board members will help with a variety of programs to help Somerville residents find and keep jobs, including managing the Jobs Creation and Retention Trust, implementing workforce development strategies, identifying job training opportunities, and more.

Vision Zero Task Force members will meet with experts, conduct research, and ultimately submit recommendations to the City administration regarding existing traffic safety issues in Somerville, changes to city policy in regard to traffic enforcement, ways to improve the city’s data collection and data distribution efforts, and more.
