Election Workers Needed

The Elections Department is still looking for folks interested in working at polling locations during the Tuesday, September 4, primary election. Polling place workers check voters in and out and help the day run smoothly. Anyone who is a registered voter in Massachusetts is eligible to apply.

The election day shift runs from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. (with some breaks) and workers are paid $165. If you’re interested in applying, please contact Donna Joy at djoy@somervillema.gov or 617-625-6600 ext. 3305.
