Our condolences go out to the White Family on the passing of Al “Big Al”. Al was a very well respected and very nice man and he will be sadly missed here in Somerville.

Alfred White III “Big Al” Of Somerville passed away February 7, 2018. Worked for the City of Somerville school system for 25 years and managed his father’s bar Tab’s Cafe in Union Sq.
He was a life long companion of the late Barbara M. Patterson. Loving father of Joshua A. White of Everett. Brother of Robin Donovan, the late Daniel White and John “Jackie” White.
Funeral procession will be from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Monday morning at 10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Clement Church, Monday at 11:30. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours Sunday 2-6. Interment Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
