This past Wednesday night, Somerville’s Ward1 Alderman Matthew McLaughlin’s hosted his annual “Matty’s Saint Paddy’s Day Fundraiser” at American Fresh at Assembly Row in Somerville. 
The event was packed with supporters that came out to celebrate the popular ward Alderman as well as a pre-St Patrick’s Day bash with some real fun. 
There was food, music, a projector, and most importantly great people who came out in numbers that evening.

One supporter even commented saying “Matthew McLaughlin launched his reelection campaign for Ward 1 alderman, invoking the spirit of the Easter Uprising of 1916. A true inspiration for progressive local politics of the 99% in Somerville, MA.”
But to sum it all up, everyone at the event had a ball!
