This past week Somerville mourns the passing of Mark Haley Sr.

Mark was a friend to so many people in this great city spreading joy and happiness wherever he went with his million-dollar personality and fantastic smile. 

Mark Haley Sr. will be sadly missed here in the Ville!

Rest in peace!

It is with great sadness that we ,

(the Haley children) must plan the arrangements to lay to rest our beloved father Mark Haley Sr. .

It is unfortunate that when someone passes unexpectedly the family has a responsibility to come up with the financial cost in a timely manner.

There is no donation too small to help ease the financial burden.

Mark, (our father) was the type of guy who would give a homeless man the shirt off his back. He would donate to multiple churches and shelters and he would give his last dollar to someone in need. Our father would pull over to help a stranger who was stranded fix a flat tire.

Our dad had a contagious laugh and his spontaneous humor always made him the life of the party. At the end of the day all he truley wanted was to put a smile on the face of others, whether it be for the moment or for a lifetime. Our dad was a good man who touched the heart of others and he will be greatly missed. 

Thank you all for the part you played in our dad’s life.
