Meet this week’s “Special Person of the Week:Renee-Marie Taylor

Renee-Marie Taylor, a Mother of 4, has lived in Somerville her entire life.  
She graduated from St. Joseph’s Grammar School, St. Clement’s High School and Blaine’s.  
She and her husband, David Marujo, own a 2 family home in East Somerville, their oldest daughter is a senior at Somerville High and their son and 2 younger daughters attend the Argenziano School where Renee works as a schoolyard monitor.  

Renee is a hockey Mom, a gymnastics Mom and a dance Mom!  
Renee donated a kidney almost 3 years ago to her brother-in-law and recently completed the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk (26.2 miles) in memory of her Dad, Robert, who passed away 20 years ago from colon cancer. 

 Her goal was to raise $1500 and to date she has raised over $2000.


Our hats are off to her true Somerville spirit!
