Join the City of Somerville’s Historic Preservation Commission for two fun events celebrating Somerville’s history:

Historic Preservation Awards Ceremony
The 21st annual ceremony will honor 12 Somerville property owners for their award-winning preservation work on the exterior of their properties. The event takes place in the historically unique space within the Somerville Armory, 191 Highland Ave. Also see the mobile exhibit of the artwork at the Century Bank on Fellsway West, and other City venues during subsequent months.
· Sunday, May 22, 2-5 p.m.
Annual Historic Bike Tour: “Retracing the Ride (Mostly) of Paul Revere)”
Co-sponsored by the Somerville Bike Committee and Historic Somerville. The ride, escorted by the Somerville Police, is designed for all ages and all riding levels. The ride will make historic stops in Medford and Arlington before a final reception at Schwab Mill in Arlington. Meet at the Holiday Inn Somerville-Boston, 30 Washington St. This ride has a $4 fee, and RSVP is appreciated by emailing BWilson@somervillema.gov. Rain date is June 12.
