Members of the Somerville Police special operations unit presented and conducted demonstrations at the Marshfield Public Safety Day held at the Marshfield airport. The event, attended by over 3500 hundred south shore residents, who were very impressed by the presence and multiple demonstration of the Somerville Police K-9 Officer Tim Sullivan and Lobo. Officers Ross O’Meara and Pat Canty provided continued community relations and demonstrations of the SPD motor unit capabilities. More important is the trust built for the kids and the police. The event was organized and run by Officer Michael DiMeo, the Marshfield Harbormaster. The event was staffed by local, state and federal public safety, as was as Nstar and Medflight.
