Early Thursday evening at 9:00pm, Somerville firefighters were called in under heavy rain to battle a large three story multiple unit home fire at 20-24 Rush Street in Somerville.
Several engine companies from other cities and towns were also called in to assist the Somerville Fire Department to help battle the blaze and get it under control.
Thirty residents were displaced that lived in the nine apartments.
One occupant was transported to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The fire was investigated by officials and was found not to be suspicious.
