SOMERVILLE, MA (May 2, 2016) – Sullivan Tire and Auto Service will open its newest location in the heart of Somerville at 263 Beacon Street, in close proximity to Porter Square, Union Square and Harvard University. This state-of-the-art, 7,500 square-foot Sullivan Tire outpost has been completely renovated and will offer comprehensive auto service – including oil changes, brakes, batteries, engine diagnostics, shocks and struts, fluid flushes, tune-ups, and more.
To commemorate the opening of its 82nd location, Sullivan Tire will host an “Opening Day Grand Opening Celebration” on Saturday, May 21, 2016. The celebration will feature a baseball-themed afternoon from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 263 Beacon Street, complete with food, music, celebrity appearances and Red Sox ticket giveaways.
“We are thrilled to open our newest Sullivan Tire location in Somerville and want to invite our friends and neighbors in the surrounding community to join us on Saturday, May 21 for a festive grand opening celebration,” said Paul Sullivan, Vice President of Sullivan Tire.
The highlight of the day will be an appearance by WEEI’s Mike Adams, host of 93.7FM Sports Radio, Somerville’s own Big League Brian and Wally the Green Monster, the official mascot of the Boston Red Sox. At 12:30 p.m., Mike Adams will give away two of pairs of tickets to the Red Sox game that afternoon against the Cleveland Indians at Fenway Park.
