Somerville Local First Hosts Spring Makers Market at Arts at the Armory on May 15th



SOMERVILLE, MA (May 2, 2016)—Think Spring, and support local designers, artists, and makers at the SLF Spring Market! With extended hours, the SLF Spring Market is the destination for your post-brunch Sunday afternoon needs. Come to hip, vibrant Somerville for shopping, music, local brews, and wine! There’s no better place to find unique, locally-made and handcrafted goods, than at the Somerville Local First Market Series.


The Spring Market takes place on Sunday, May 15th, from 11am to 4pm at Arts at the Armory (191 Highland Avenue). This event is FREE and easily accessible by car, bike, or public transportation.


The additional dates for the 2016 Somerville Local First Market Series are: Aug 7, Nov 27, and Dec 11.


The market will feature over 25 local vendors selling jewelry, accessories, paper goods, fragrances, housewares, confections, home décor, art, and records.


In addition, the bar will be open and supplied with local beer for visitors to sip and shop. Entertainment at the Spring Market will be provided by DJ Studebaker Hawk.  


A FREE Outdoor Fitness class will be led by The Training Room coaches. Class will begin and end at The Armory. Check-in at The Training Room table at 10:30AM and safely store your belongings while you head out to enjoy an hour of total-body strength and conditioning! When you return… sip, shop, and groove.
