In depth look into the new zoning plan – Wards 2 and 3
February 23, 6:30 p.m. – Old Post Office Building – 237 Washington Street
The proposed citywide zoning overhaul will change the look and feel of Somerville and Wards 2 and 3 are no exception. Whether you are an owner or renter you’ll want to know how these changes will effect your home, your block and your neighborhood. This is the opportunity to look at the maps, ask questions, and make suggestions. Ultimately, the Board of Alderman will make the final vote and I want to represent your interests and advocate for what you feel is missing or should be changed. This meeting is a great way to be heard and I’m looking forward to your input.
Lincoln Park DESIGN committee meeting
February 24, 6:30 – Argenziano School Cafeteria
It is hard to believe now, but spring is just around the corner and what better way to escape the snow and slush than to start planning a great green space. At this meeting you’ll be the first to meet the landscape architects and learn more about the design process. I’m really excited to get moving on Lincoln Park and give it the attention it deserves.
