Yes, another storm’s going to hit this weekend, but let’s all take a moment to enjoy this beautiful sight: Snow being trucked off Highland Avenue yesterday.

Crews have been out removing snow, which has allowed us to open up parking on the even side of some streets. We hope to continue opening more even side parking today, so follow the updates at: http://bit.ly/17oStTV.

If you’re going out of town this weekend, plan ahead and don’t leave your car parked on the even side. With forecasts calling for more heavy snow this weekend we will need to reinstate snow emergency parking on all streets at some point.

Our local crews have been joined by reinforcements – 5 front end loaders from New York and 5 6-wheel dump trucks with plows.
