A snow storm will impact the state starting late Sunday night or early Monday morning, and lasting until Monday night or early Tuesday
morning. The storm will result in modest to heavy snowfall over a majority of Southern New England, with a wintry-mix possible across south shoreline areas including Cape Cod and the Islands. Snowfall totals may be highest in a swath along the Mass Pike (amounts 10-14 inches), but much of the state could receive 12″ of snow, with lesser amounts on the Cape and Islands.
Hazardous to treacherous travel conditions are possible for both the morning and afternoon/evening commutes on Monday due to heavy snow and strong winds causing drifting and blizzard-like conditions at times.
