Assembly Row and Union Square have moved on to the second round of Curbed Boston’s annual Neighborhood of the Year Voting. Assembly’s taking on Boston’s Fort Point and Union faces Downtown Crossing. Show your Somerville pride by casting your vote.

And then there were eight. Thanks to your votes, we’ve whittled down our 16 seeds in the fourth annual Curbed Boston Cup and set up a second round full of underdogs. First and foremost! Assembly Row bumped off last year’s champ East Boston. And No. 12 Downtown Crossing came from behind to best the West End. Ditto No. 11 Roslindale, which topped archrival West Roxbury in a late surge. Finally, No. 15 Dorchester swatted away Jamaica Plain, which finished second last year and was the No. 2 this go-round. It’s wide open, folks. Voting recommences next week. Stay tuned.
