Mayor Walsh to Announce Major Climate Preparedness Efforts on Two-year Anniversary of Hurricane Sandy

BOSTON — On the two-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, Mayor Martin J. Walsh will be joined by local officials to announce a new regional effort to help prepare Boston and the metropolitan area for the impacts of climate change. The event will also include the kickoff of the international design competition, Boston Living With Water, as well as an update on Boston’s climate efforts.
