Hello All,

This a reminder about the community meeting regarding the empty lot in Teele Sq.

date: Tuesday, July 29th
time: 6:30pm
location: West Somerville Neighborhood School, cafeteria
177 Powderhouse Blvd

The potential developer, attorney, and architect will be present to share with us their re-design of this lot. They are looking to construct a mixed use development of underground parking, street-level commercial and 3 floors condominiums above.

Mixed use often means an excuse to build condos. The retail is an after thought at best. Look at the mixed use space across from VFW in Davis with no retail! Well, I guess anything beats the vacant lot we’ve endured for three years since fire.
