McCarthy, Daniel Patrick of Lakeville (lifelong Somerville resident), June 10, 2026. Beloved son of the late Arthur and Bernardine (Lally) of Somerville.

Survived by loving brother of Katherine Moberg and her husband Carl of North Carolina, Brian McCarthy of Cambridge, Patricia Ryan of Somerville. Loving brother of the late Timothy McCarthy, Kevin McCarthy, and Maureen Cameron. Loving uncle to Melissa Long and her husband Robert of Middleboro, Eric Moberg and his wife Victoria of Florida, Timothy Cameron of Lowell, Matthew Cameron of California, Kristin Flores and her husband Edwin of Somerville, Maureen McCarthy of Roslindale, Kathleen McCarthy-Colon and her husband Eli of Randolph, and Myles (Mickey) Boulanger of Connecticut. Also survived by many wonderful great-nieces and great-nephews. Dan was a lifelong fan of The Boston Bruins, Grateful Dead, and Rolling Stones. Mass will be said June 23rd at 6P.M. in the chapel of Sacred Heart Church, 49 6th Street, Cambridge (Enter the chapel on 7th Street.) A Celebration of Life will be held on June 27th.
