Somerville Police Department Charges Two Juveniles in July 22 Shooting at Grand Union Blvd

SOMERVILLE – The Somerville Police have charged two juveniles, ages 16 & 17, for their alleged involvement in a shooting that occurred on July 22, 2025 in the area of 495 Grand Union Boulevard.

On 7/22/25, at 9:30 p.m., the Somerville Police Communications Center received 911 calls for shots being fired in the parking lot near 495 Grand Union Blvd. Police recovered 23 shell casings and located multiple vehicles and a business with ballistic damage.There were no injuries reported.

In the days that followed, Somerville Police Detectives worked in coordination with law enforcement partners to identify and safely take the two involved juveniles into custody. The incident remains under investigation.
