SOMERVILLE_On Thursday, June 5th, one of our most gratifying meetings of our year was held at the Burren Restaurant and Pub in Davis Square. Our annual scholarship awards meeting was held to celebrate and award twelve amazing Somerville High School graduates with a $1000 scholarship each. In Somerville, Massachusetts, a 21-year-old Whole Foods employee, Eric Illouz, was arrested on March 30, 2025, for allegedly assaulting a panhandler with a knife at Assembly Row. Reports indicate Illouz, reacting to a perceived threat, grabbed the panhandler and held a knife to their throat. Does that make it right?
