Somerville/Medford Remembering Roberta J. (Perry) O’Brien

Obituary
Roberta J. (Perry) O’Brien – Of Woburn, passed away peacefully after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born in Somerville, Roberta was the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Clark) Perry. A woman of quiet strength and simple pleasures, Roberta found joy in the written word, often finishing two or three books in a single week. When not immersed in a novel, she enjoyed challenging herself with games of solitaire or testing her luck at Texas Hold ’Em.

Above all, Roberta treasured the time spent in the home she lovingly built and shared with her beloved husband. It was there, surrounded by memories and warmth, that she found her greatest comfort and happiness.

Beloved wife of 40 years to Simon Peter Mosgofian. Devoted mother of Paul D. O’Brien, Brenda O’Brien-Goode and the late Robert O’Brien. Cherished and loving grandmother of Michael Talluto. Also survived by many loving friends and extended family members.

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House SQ.) on Sunday, June 8th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.

Interment will be held privately at Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
