Obituary
Sandra (Miano) Morrissey formerly of Arlington and Winchester, Ma passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024 at the age of 79 after a long and courageous battle with dementia.
Beloved wife of her late husband, Merle Morrissey, and beloved daughter of the late Armand and Dorothy Miano of Arlington, MA. She is survived by her loving sister, Linda (Miano) Macklin of Ayer, MA and her two nephews, Jamie Macklin of Boston, MA and OKC, Oklahoma and his husband Kevin Wilson, Justin Macklin of Hingham, MA and his wife Laura Macklin, and three great nieces Parker, Addy and Scarlett Macklin. She is also survived by her loving cousin, Paula Spagnuolo of Windham, NH.
Sandra worked for MGH/Boston in the social work department for many, many years before her retirement. She also loved to travel and vacation with her late husband and had a love for the theatre – and an avid Boston Celtics fan!!
Services will be private and arrangements entrusted to Doherty Funeral Home, Somerville, MA.
