The auxiliary fire vehicle is over thirty years old. They been helping the community since 1942 , they have never had new equipment always used. The auxiliary fire pumps out basements for 100 years free of charge , with volunteers doing the work. Guess what, from what I hear the Somerville city council just turned them down for newer apparatus worth 12,000.00 dollars.
The volunteers also worked 100 of hours during Covid distribution of mask and food and mask to the elderly and veterans. Photos out there to prove it.
No respect to the volunteers
How old are the Auxiliary Fire equipment, says that there over 30 yeas old. What are they going to get for 12,000.00 you can’t even purchase a van for 12,000.00.
