Obituary
John F. Wanders, III, of Medford, passed away on June 19, 2024, he was 72. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Margaret (Murray) and John F. Wanders, II.

Beloved husband of Nancy (Blauvelt) Wanders and devoted father of Brian Wanders.

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Friday, June 28th from 3:00PM to 7:00PM, with Words of Remembrance beginning at 6:30PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford on Saturday, June 29th at 10:00AM – please meet inside the main gate off of Playstead Road at 9:45AM.

Retired Engineer with the MBTA and longtime member Local 589 Boston Carmen’s Union.
