So a childhood friend from St Joe’s had his family’s house in Somervile go into receivership. He said once it did, he was getting called constantly by Maria Curtatone begging him to sell it to her.

He didn’t, but I do have to wonder if she sits at her desk all day hunting for distressed property. So predatory. It doesn’t even sound ethical.

I just hope the St Joe’s reference didn’t tip her off. The house is located right near there. 😬 But, yeah, that behavior MUST be called out.

Side note: the attorney who wanted the property reps the biggest private landlord in the state. That the City of Somerville is just shoveling people out of their homes is disturbing.
