ALEKOS’ OBITUARY

Alekos Kalogeropoulos ,91 of Somerville, Mass. Passed away peacefully on July 4, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Born in Manganiako, Messina, Greece. Son of the late Peter and Tasoula Kalogeropoulos. Beloved husband of the late Stavroula (Papantoniou) Kalogeropoulos . Devoted father of Ted Kalogeropoulos and his wife Camille of N. Reading, Hercules Kalogeropoulos and his wife Lisa of Somerville , Chris Kalogeropoulos and his wife Joanna of Sharon. Cherished papou of Alex, Gregory, Julia, John, Alex, James, Andrew, Alex Kalogeropoulos. Loving brother of Nico Kalogeropoulos and his wife Kiki of Randolph and the late Demetrios, Vasili, Yiannis, Theodore, Sophia, Dina and their spouses from Greece. Brother in law of Veneta Lambros and her late husband Arthu of Randolph, Athanasia Tombros and her late husband Demetrios of Randolph, Christos Papantoniou and his wife Angeliki of Brainteee, Evangelia Papantoniou of Everett and her late husband Dimitrios and the late Yianoula, Yiannis, Georgios from Greece and their spouses. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends here and in Greece. Alekos loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing cards. He was a devout Orthodox Christian. He worked at Jimmy’s Harborside restaurant in Boston for over 30 years. He will be sadly missed. Funeral services on Monday, July 10, 2023 in the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Church, 14 Magazine St., Cambridge, MA at 11 am. Visitation prior to the service from 9:30- 11 am at the church. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers , donations in his memory may be made to the above named church. Burial in the Gardens Cemetery, West Roxbury
