Somerville/Medford Remembering Christopher E. White

WHITEY

White, Christopher Edward (“Whitey”).- Of Tewksbury, passed away on July 5, 2023, after a tragic car accident. He was 40 years old.

Born in Boston and raised in Somerville, Chris was the devoted husband of Arlette (Figueiredo) White and loving father of Jade, Bella and Kaia. He was the beloved son of Patricia (White) Scopa and her husband Paul of Medford and the cherished brother of Kaitlyn (White) Sloane and her husband Corey of Norwood. He is also lovingly survived by many loving relatives and close friends.
Whitey was a kind and gentle man who loved to laugh and joke around. He could talk to anyone and always made everyone he met a friend. Chris enjoyed playing golf on Sunday mornings and got his daughter, Bella, to love it too. He was the ultimate sports fan, watching absolutely anything sports on TV, but most of all, he was a die hard Patriots fan. You always knew where to find Chris on a Sunday afternoon during football season – in front of the TV cheering them on.
Although his love of sports was huge, nothing tops the love Chris had for his family, and especially his beloved girls, Jade, Bella and Kaia. He loved being a husband and a dad and his family brought him endless joy, whether he was shuffling the girls around to work, cheerleading, karate or just sitting around the firepit with Arlette enjoying life. They were the light of his life.
Whitey also enjoyed his family vacations in Florida and always had to make a trip to his favorite restaurant (sometimes multiple times during the week) for as he called it “the world’s greatest” cubano sandwich and a cuban coffee.
