Somerville/Medford Remembering Lillian D. Damico

LILLIAN’S OBITUARY:
Damico, Lillian D. (Venuti)– Of Somerville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 17, 2023. She was 86 years old.

Born in Belmont to the late Leo and Nellie (Tudaro) Venuti. Lillian was a woman of great and dignity. She was known to always have the best advice and was known to be the “glue” to the family. Family was everything to Lillian, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Seeing her grandchildren always brought a smile to her face. Besides her love for her family, she had a deep passion for cooking. No one could compete with her meat ball and gravy recipe. On her down time, she enjoyed puzzles and making ceramics. Lillian was more than just a mom, she was a role model to all.

She was the beloved wife of 61 years to Augustine A. Damico. Devoted mother to David Damico and his wife Laurie of Georgetown and Christine Hoag and her husband Kevin of Reading. Cherished grandmother of David Damico and his wife Courtney, Christopher Damico and his wife Taylor and Danielle Damico, Garrett, Grace and Jessica Hoag. The loving great-grandmother of Lilly and Michael. She is also survived by many loving niece and nephews.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25th at St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford at 11:00Am.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Calling hours will be held Saturday morning at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway(Powder House Sq.) from 10:00AM to 11:00AM.

Services will conclude with Lillian being laid to rest with her beloved husband at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
