Rigione, Yvone A. passed away on Feb. 15, 2023 at the age of 80 in Somerville, MA.

In Boston 1942, Yvone Edmands was born to Vaughn and Harriet Edmands. Yvone was born into an Army family. They traveled around the world, living in several countries while her dad served our nation.

As a young adult Yvone moved to Somerville where she met and married the love of her life Leonard J. Rigione. They were happily married for 60 years.

Lovingly nicknamed “Candy” after she met Lenny, Candy and Lenny raised their family in Somerville.

Yvone is survived by five children, their spouses and family:

Leonard Rigione, Jr; Hope & Raymond Parsons; Vaughn & Sally Rigione; Ralph Rigione & Marty Garcia and Kathy Rigione.

She is survived by six grandchildren (Crystal, Bryant, Nathan, Ben, Jude, and Jenny) and three great- grandchildren [Nicholas, Sadielynn and Scarlett] who all brought her pride and joy.

Extended family she leaves includes her sister Jackie Murrell; her sister-in-law JoAnn [Kersulis] Johnston and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Bill Edmands as well as her grandson William Roman.
