Somerville community members are invited to join the Mid-Term Ceremonies on Tuesday, January 3, at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers (93 Highland Ave.).

During her Mayoral Mid-Term State of the City Address, Mayor Katjana Ballantyne will reflect on her first year in office, events, and initiatives impacting the community this past year. She will also share plans for the coming year. The incoming Council President and School Committee Chair will similarly reflect on 2022 issues and efforts as well as work to come. A reception with light refreshments will immediately follow the official ceremony and speeches.

The speeches will be live streamed on the City’s cable and educational access television stations, as well as online at somervillema.gov, and posted to CityTV’s YouTube Channel the next day at youtube.com/SomervilleCityTV. For more information, contact 311 (617-666-3311).
