JOSÉ’S OBITUARY
José G. Silva, of Somerville, passed away at home on October 30, 2022.
He was the beloved husband of the late Maria (Miranda) Diamantina Silva and the devoted father of Joseph Silva and his wife Sharon of Leominster, Paul Silva and his former wife Aura both of Somerville, Emanuel Silva and his wife Diane of North Andover and Mary Zammuto and her husband Greg of Medford. Loving grandfather and great grandfather of Harrison, Jackson, Josh, Matthew, Evan, David, Carter, Corey, Zachary, Isabel and Maribel. Dear brother of Olivet Parnes of California. He is further survived by his beloved cat, Patrick.
Funeral Procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Friday morning at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Medford at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Calling Hours Thursday 4-7PM. Services will conclude with burial at St. Paul Cemetery, Arlington.

José was a retired machine operator with NECCO/Nabisco and member of the BCTGM International Union.
