OBITUARY
Dudley, Ronald C. – Of Somerville, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. He was 76.

Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late John and Marie (Bennett) Dudley. Ronald enjoyed the simpler things in life. Every day he would take a walk around the neighborhood and talk to all the neighbors along the way. He was an avid sports fan of all Boston teams but his favorite team of all was the New England Patriots. When ever there was a game on he would be right there watching the game cheering on his team. He also enjoyed doing yard work and always had one of the best kept lawns. Ronald was a proud Navy Veteran.
He was the beloved husband of 52 years to Caterina “Rina” (Scarfo) Dudley. He was the devoted father of Gina Thompson of Somerville. The cherished brother of Kenny Dudley and his wife Diane, Jimmy Dudley and his late wife Diane and Thomas Dudley. He was the brother in-law of Joseph Scarfo and his wife Maria, and George Scarfo and his wife Eunice. He is also loving survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.), Somerville on Monday, August 29th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. A prayer service will be conducted at 6:30PM. Late U.S. Navy Veteran.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ronald’s name to American Cancer Society or to the Disabled American Veterans.
