CITY OF MEDFORD DECLARES SNOW EMERGENCY FOR FRIDAY, JANUARY 28 AT 10 PM

Parking restrictions in effect as of 10 pm Friday

(MEDFORD)—The City of Medford is declaring a snow emergency to go into effect at 10 p.m. on Friday. Department of Public Works staff will work throughout the night and into the day Saturday prepping and removing snow from the roadways. With forecasts predicting over two feet of snow, please be patient as crews will be working as fast as possible to make roads accessible.

Parking restrictions will go into effect at 10 p.m., including:

On secondary roads, parking is allowed on the ODD side of the street only. Cars parked on the even side of the street during snow emergencies will be ticketed and towed.

On main arteries, there is NO PARKING allowed on either side of the street. There is signage posted on these main arteries, and a full list of streets is at http://www.medfordma.org/snow.
