VERONICA’S OBITUARY
Colman, Veronica E. (Mili) Of Somerville, passed away peacefully December 21, 2021 at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington.
She was 84.
Born and raised in Somerville to the late Spiridione and Gelsomina (Scipione) Mili.
Shortly after graduating high school, Veronica met the love her life Joseph Colman with whom she shared 64 years of marriage with. She worked for 41 years as an intake coordinator for the Somerville Hospital. If she wasn’t working you could find her playing bingo, at the casino, or on dinner date with her husband Joe. If the weather was nice she would pack up a beach bag and head to the beach. Her love was endless when it came to her family, especially her grandchildren. Veronica was a woman of strong faith, love and a woman of elegance. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was the beloved wife of 64 years to Joseph T. Colman. She was the devoted mother of Laura R. Thompson and her husband Richard of Billerica, and the late Joseph, Michael, and Karen Colman, the loving grandmother of Cairo Thompson, Michael Colman, Anthea Thompson, Maya Thompson, and Kelsey Colman. The dear sister of the late Rita Mili, Tony Mili and wife Audrey, Jim Mili and his surviving wife Olga, Rose and husband Joe Gartland, Dorothy and Huey Rossi, Father Jude Mili and Kay and Don Benton. She is also loving survived by her loving “adoptive son” her nephew Chris Gartland and may other nieces and nephews.

SOMERVILLE, THURSDAY MORNING AT 9 AM, FOLLOWED BY A FUNERAL MASS IN SAINT CLEMENT CHURCH, 64 WARNER ST., SOMERVILLE AT 10 AM. RELATIVES AND FRIEND ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY FROM 4 TO 7 PM. INTERMENT AT PURITAN LAWN MEMORIAL PARK ,PEABODY.
