MEDFORD – United States Senator Ed Markey (D-Malden) has endorsed Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn campaign’s for re-election as Mayor of Medford, the Lungo-Koehn campaign announced today.
“For two decades as a City Councilor and as Mayor, Breanna Lungo-Koehn has shown leadership, vision, and an unwavering commitment to the people of Medford. There is no substitute for the experience she has demonstrated, especially during these challenging months during COVID. I look forward to better days ahead for Medford with Breanna at the helm.”, said Senator Markey.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 2nd. Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn is seeking her second term as mayor of Medford. Prior to becoming mayor, Mayor Lungo-Koehn served on the Medford City Council for 18 years.
Senator Markey has served in the United States Senate since 2013. Before his election to the Senate, Senator Markey represented Medford in the US House of Representatives for almost four decades, from 1976 until 2013.
