Hey Lovers! Celebrate Valentines Day with us! Laugh the Night Away with 4 of our favorite comics. Couples or Singles Welcome!
Hosted by Alvin David. Big Al is like the most delicious cocktail an audience has ever tasted. Imagine a Las Vegas lounge singer with killer jokes where the songs would be. Then, add a frenetic stream of consciousness, driven by a seemingly drug-induced pace. Sprinkle in a genuine love of the game. Now garnish with grooviness. Serve cool…..really cool
Erin Spencer is a Boston-based comic whose dispatches from life as a single transgender woman have quickly established her as a distinctive voice in New England’s comedy scene. Her wry takes on navigating everyday life as a trans woman has entertained audiences of all backgrounds and political persuasions.
Shawn Carter is a Boston-based comedian known for his every-man sensibilities and sharp joke-writing abilities. His work has been featured in the Boston Globe, the Boston Comedy Festival, and clubs, colleges, and theaters all over New England. In 2018, Shawn released his debut album 100 Problems, which peaked at Number 1 on the iTunes Comedy Chart and Number 7 on the Billboard Comedy Chart. He is not married to Beyoncé.
Bethany Van Delft’s “hip & grounded, laid back delivery” has earned her the honor of performing at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, SF Sketchfest, All Jane Festival, Boston Calling, and made her a go-to opener for some of her faves such as Phoebe Robinson, Michelle Buteau, Michael Che, Rob Delaney, and Alonzo Bodden. She produces award-winning comedy and storytelling shows in her home base of Boston; her series “38/7%” at the Women in Comedy Festival earned sponsorship from HBO; her monthly show “Artisanal Comedy” was named “one of the top indie nights to check out”; the hilariously cringe-worthy live storytelling show/podcast she co-produced with Nick Chambers “Starstruck: Close Encounters of the Awkward Kind” was awarded Boston’s Best Comedy Show. In 2019 she was named Boston Magazine “Best Comic”, and her debut comedy album “Im Not a Llama” dropped Dec 2019 to good reviews and an impressive number of minutes at #2 on the iTunes charts
Steve Bjork is a polished veteran of the highly competitive Boston comedy scene with crisscrossing tours of the country under his belt. His material is intelligent and accessible, but first and foremost, it is funny. Bjork takes everyday life and turns it upside down in a way that every demographic in any given audience can enjoy. A longtime favorite in nightclubs and casinos around the country.

You are sure to have a fun time.

Sincerely,

Jim McCue
