Register to Vote in the Presidential Primary by February 12

With the 2020 Presidential Primary coming up on Tuesday, March 3, here are some important dates to keep in mind:

The deadline to register to vote or to change party affiliation for the primary is Wednesday, February 12, at 8 p.m.

Somerville has announced the schedule for early voting. All early voting sessions will take place at City Hall, 93 Highland Avenue, and the schedule is:

Monday, February 24, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, February 25, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, February 26, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 27, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Friday, February 28, 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Absentee ballots are available now, and can be requested up until noon on Monday, March 2. If you will be out of the city on March 3, have a disability, are in a correctional facility, or cannot visit a polling place for religious reasons, you are able to vote via an absentee ballot.

  1. This is one of the greatest opportunities Democracy offers in our free world. We can go and vote for the person that we believe will do the best for our COUNTRY

    Someone who may share all or most of our values. And what do we have to loose a half hour or more of our time depending on how much you really care. It’s all up to us. Register if you are not and get out and vote. We fight to see Democracy work throughout the world. Why not exercise your opportunity for change?

    Already registered and not happy change your party and provide yourself an even greater opportunity to participate and make change.
