Folks can start with Somerville Property Owners Coalition they are challenging the city on the condo ordinance and are working with SPOA against rent stabilization aka rent control along with some other issues that arise.
People need to vote in local elections this year its State Senators and Reps. race. We need less socialist candidates and more middle of the road caring candidates that stop screwing the middle class.
Folks need to attend the Gilman Square meeting and be sure they are heard since that’s the next area that will be bike heaven.

Maybe once people stop being afraid they will come out and run for office. There has to be someone that will come out. Last time the right candidate only got 30% of the vote.
Voting is only part of the solution, we need a candidate that’s going to have everything ones back.
